In the ‘Click & Print’ and ‘Interior Design & Wrapping’ areas at the fair
Graphispag demonstrates live the possibilities of printed personalisation
Customisation is an unstoppable trend. Customers are looking for unique, different and tailor-made products and are willing to pay more for them. From clothing and accessories to furniture, walls and home furnishings, sporting goods, electronics, gifts, cars and promotional products. To find out about the processes, digital printing technology and media that make individual or mass customisation possible, Graphispag will have two areas with live demonstrations.
These are ‘Click & Print’ and ‘Interior Design & Wrapping’, two areas located in Hall 2 of the Fira Barcelona’s Gran Via venue which, from 1 to 3 October, will allow visitors to the fair to see the differential power of personalisation and, especially, to learn how to apply it. The aim of Graphispag is to inspire graphic arts companies to diversify and expand their catalogue of printed products, as well as to generate entrepreneurial formulas based on printing.
At ‘Click & Print’, visitors will be able to participate by contributing images and see live the process of designing, creating and printing personalised objects such as mugs, photographs, notebooks and pens. With printing technology from Epson, Fujifilm, Roland DG and Trotec as well as software from Imaxel, this space will highlight the differential value and durability of personalised items.
In ‘Interior Design & Wrapping’, visitors will be able to learn how to use self-adhesive materials to personalise and decorate all kinds of objects and spaces to get the most out of them. There will be daily demonstrations by the companies Wrapping Penedés and appvinil, users of these applications, which will show how it is possible to renovate or completely transform the external appearance of objects such as walls, furniture, household appliances or cars at a reduced cost.
Themed tours and guest events
As a complement, Graphispag will provide visitors with different themed itineraries that can be followed individually and that will serve to discover some of the solutions presented by exhibitors related to editorial printing, packaging, labels, large format, interior design and new industrial sectors. In the specific case of personalisation, Juan Blanco from Grafiklandia will be the expert who will guide attendees to discover the latest developments in this field on display at the fair.
For those who want to broaden their knowledge, Graphispag also includes the ‘Impulso-Diálogos’ space with more than twenty conferences and round tables with the participation of some 60 speakers. The programme includes several sessions with personalisation as the main theme.
Finally, Graphispag also hosts several guest events organised by entities linked to the graphic and visual communication industry. This is the case of ‘The Printers House’, promoted by Pressgraph magazine, which includes six conferences, an area on materials and another on innovative applications of printed products.
Liber Conference is another of the forums open to Graphispag visitors. Specifically, the programme includes several presentations of interest to the graphics sector, such as the sessions dedicated to on-demand printing and distribution of books, PEFC sustainability certification in the publishing sector and common actions in training within the graphics and publishing sector.
Impriclub, the largest private association of commercial printers in Spain, will hold its assembly during the show. Finally, there will be a presentation of the 15th edition of the Master’s Degree in Industry and Graphic Communication Management offered by the Gremi d’Indústries Gràfiques de Catalunya, as well as a meeting of former students.
